Taken Photos

 None of these photos are very good, so it is likely I will not use any of them.

<--1. If chosen to be used background will need cutting out (too messy and big for magazine) brightness and contrast could be changed. Same for 2.

Photo to blurry to use

If used the background would have to be cut out as it is not big enough to be intresting, or small enough to not be noticed.

 Posed, like the inspiration pictures I had preciously uploaded. Wont use because there is not enough of her face shown, and it looks as if her expression is not the best in this photo. From inspiration.

Rough Double Page Spread

Background featuring band.
More images of band place over.

Some over lapping of image on interview/writing.

Pros: With good images will look and intresting.

Cons: Will need large background image that is interesting, and detailed.

Band written at the top.
Information put in to decorated/neat box around image of band. Along the bottom more information on band. A second photo overlaps the photo.

Pros: Little boxes to put writing in. Boxes will make it look neat and interesting.

Cons: Could leave too much empty spaces around the corners.

Name of band at top (written write across page like in Q's magazine).

Information put in neat columns on one page (like Kerrangs.)

Overlapping photographs will look interesting and leave no bland empty spaces.

Pros: Can look good, neat and tidy.

Cons: Background may look weird. When I make this version I will have make the large image slightly smaller so background can be seen on both pages.

Rough Contents

Design: Simple design. Uses a background. Contents title at the top. Contents written down down the centre. Beneath the contents a model could be posing.

Pros: Really simple, all readers will be able to read well.

Cons: Mind numbingly simple, and dull. Not interesting.

Contents title at top. Contents written in columns along the page. Multiple images of of different bands over lapping the contents.

Pros: Overlapping could create a more intresting look.

Cons: Contents written in large at top could take up a lot of space. Too much picture over lapping looks messy.

Contents and/or logo written at top (like Q magazine.)
Images place over lapping and/or under contents, where they fit well. Image of bands/musicians around contents. Blue boxes will have a small bit of writing in them.

Pros: Overlapping, intresting

Cons: If I create to much overlapping, or do not have correctly styled photos this will not work.

Rough Front Covers

Band featured in middle. Title of magazine layered about the top. Information written around band. Band name written over members.

Pros: Has layers and band name written over people like Kerrang, and Q.

Cons: Only the heads of my models will be visible if I create it like this.

Magazine Name written across the top. Information written in boxes. Band name written across model.

Pros: Front cover will be fully decorated. Will have lots of things to look out.

Cons:  Could be over crowded. Not much of band member will be visible.

Magazine Name written at the top.

Information written in boxes around mid-shot of model/musician.

Box layered over/under image where it suits.

Pros: Cover will have all of space taken up, and not be over  crowded.

Cons: Boxes of writing could look to boxed. Will have to find good colour scheme so that all words are visible.
